CYCLES exhibition Tūranga, Christchurch Central Library
As part of CYCLES (Children and Youth in Cities Lifestyle Evaluation and Sustainability Study), a photographic exhibition at Tūranga, Christchurch Central Library: groups of young people aged 12-24 created photo diaries of "how I live now" – looking at "how I get around and get away, what I eat, how I spend recreation and work/study time", how we heat our homes etc and what we like and would like to change about our cities and neighbourhoods. The exhibition encouraged young people to take part in the survey (via QR code) and to think about the energy and carbon impacts of how we live now, and how they could make positive changes in the city. Exhibition panel sides 1m x 2m.
